Single (different) Barn Owls were seen in daylight this afternoon on the gatepost at Moreton Cottage and Herriott's Pool.
A Bittern was seen in flight past Stratford hide this morning.
Two Greater Scaup (Moreton/Villice Bay), a Chiffchaff at Villice Bay, an adult Mediterranean Gull in the roost this afternoon, ten Goosander and 30 Wigeon were seen today.
A female/first-winter Red-breasted Merganser was seen off Heron's Green Bay/Nunnery this afternoon.
Two first-winter Greater Scaup (Moreton/Stratford) were the highlights today; other birds seen were 11 Wigeon and six Goosander.
A female Red-breasted Merganser was seen at Moreton; nearby six Bramblings were with a Chaffinch flock between Moreton Cottage and Moreton Point.
At least 12 Goosanders and the male Red-breasted Merganser were seen today, also three Snipe, one Jack Snipe, 20 Wigeon and a Mediterranean Gull.
