This bird was found on 2nd January near one of the reservoirs at Barrow. The following day it was still there, but was difficult to photograph as it kept itself low amongst dead grasses, so I had great plans to go back early the next morning to try and get some better ones. Unfortunately for me, and even more unfortunately for the bird, all I succeeded in locating the following morning was a pile of Dartford Warbler feathers. Bugger. So these are the photos I took on 3rd; some of them have had had a fair bit of Photoshoppery to remove extraneous bits of vegetation in front of the bird.
